I Dr. Parthvi Shah have completed residency in Ophthalmology from Pramukh Swami Medical College, Shri Krishna Hospital, Karamsad and obtained my Diploma in Ophthalmology with distinction. Thereafter I worked extensively with Narayan Eye Hospital, Tajpura for 2 years where I gained immense surgical and clinical experience. Here I got the opportunity to perform close to 5000 surgical procedures including Small Incision Cataract Surgeries, phaco surgeries, pterygium surgeries and other clinical procedures.

I deal with the following eye disorders: Cataract and its management via PHACO Surgery with implantation of foldable intraocular lenses (Sutureless, no stitch, no injection and no pad, pain free surgery) Early diagnosis and treatment of Glaucoma, Retinal disorders and and screening for Diabetic Retinopathy Pterygium and its treatment with autologous conjunctival grafting Diagnosis and management of Pediatric refractory errors, congenital nasolacrimal duct obstructions, squint and ROP screening facilities. Management of common eye diseases like conjunctivitis, dry eye disorders, and other Extraocular diseases. Accurate counselling and guidance for LASIK procedures.

I further went on to Choithram Netralaya, Indore to persue my Secondary D.N.B which I managed to clear successfully at the first attempt. I later got the opportunity to do a clinical observership at Charles George VA Medical Centre, Asheville, North Carolina, U.S.A. which was an enriching experience. I was then associated with Santram Eye Hospital, Nadiad for a Phaco fellowship and training Programme. All through these years I have headed more than 50 teams in various outreach camps and programmes in adult population for screening cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and also screening schools and the paediatric population for paediatric eye diseases. I have been an active and regular participant in ophthalmology Conferences and have a keen interest in academic discussions and case presentations.
